Meet Dory, one of the home’s gentle labrador retrievers, and her pals Dolly, Etta, Sadie, and Cocoa Bean at our other homes.
Trained to be companions, they formed the “Canine Companions Club.” Each day, their presence brings warmth and unconditional love to the residents of Applewood Our House.
Residents eagerly awaited the daily visits, finding solace and joy in petting a dog. Dory’s playfulness, Dolly’s calm demeanor, and Etta’s silent understanding created an atmosphere of tranquility.
One resident, Ms. SJ, formed a special bond with Dory. Though names and faces were a challenge, Dory’s companionship sparked a light in Ms. SJ’s eyes, reminding her of the unwavering love that dogs provide.
