Jackie had a huge smile as she danced and sang Elvis’s classic songs. Naturally, this brought happiness to all of our seniors.

Residents from Applewood Our House Assisted Living Memory Care Home received a surprise visit from a group of majestic raptors.
As the residents gathered one summer morning, they were delighted to see the birds sharing their wing spans. With eyes shining and hearts full of wonder, they watched the raptors and learned a great deal about them.
As the raptors bid farewell and disappeared, the residents waved goodbye, grateful for the unexpected joy they had experienced. The visit of the raptors’ visit would remain in their hearts, a symbol of the magic.
Boxing - Shelly Steps Into the Ring Again
Shelly’s 89th birthday. Shelly’s wish to step back into the ring one more time and share his passion with the other residents was truly inspiring.
Watching Shelly lace his gloves and step into the ring reminded us the unyielding quest to follow our ambitions, irrespective of our seasons in life.
The efforts in making this celebration possible did not go unnoticed, and the elation and inspiration it imparted in our community were infinite.
Applewood Our House Fishing Outing
In a town nestled near the Rockies, residents of a memory care home awaited a special outing—a day of fishing by a serene pond.
Accompanied by caregivers, they journeyed to the pond in their little bus, brimming with excitement. With rods in hand, they cast lines into the tranquil waters, enjoying the peaceful surroundings and each other’s company.
Throughout the day, laughter filled the air as they shared stories and cheered on each other’s catches. As the day ends, they reluctantly reeled in their lines, grateful for the day spent in nature’s embrace.
Lakewood Residents Enjoy Water Park Outing
On a bright and sunny summer day, the folks at Applewood Our House Lakewood decided it was the perfect time for some fun in the water.
The residents showed up with smiling faces, eager to splash around and enjoy some time outdoors. This was a special trip to a water park, a wonderful adventure planned with love and care for the residents of the five memory care homes.
And guess what? Even Etta, the friendly dog who’s pretty much part of the family, was excited to join in.
Our residents at Applewood Our House laughed and made new memories. It was a day of pure delight, with water slides, lazy rivers, and splash pads to explore.
Birthday Like a Princess at Applewood Our House
At Applewood Our House, we had a super special birthday party that felt like something out of a fairy tale. One of our beloved residents always dreamed of being a princess, and guess what? We made her wish come true!
We dressed her up in a beautiful princess gown that made her eyes shine with happiness. She looked like she stepped out of a story book.
But what’s a princess without her royal court? So, we invited her family to join.

Bandimere Speedway for Racing Fun
This was an outing for our fans of racing. It was such a fun day and our residents also got to get close up to the cars.
Bandimere Speedway, located in Morrison, Colorado, is a premier destination for drag racing enthusiasts. It offers thrilling 300MPH races on Thunder Mountain.
Bandimere is the official venue for the Mile-High NHRA Nationals and numerous other events, it’s a world-class facility for both racers and fans.
Applewood Our House Senior Prom for Residents
Our residents teamed up with a local high school for a senior prom.
They had so much fun getting dressed up and dancing the night away. It felt like a magical time machine took them back for a night filled with joy and laughter.
Everyone was smiling, from ear to ear, as they swayed to the music, and enjoyed each other’s company.
