Hello, everyone. When I first visited this place.I thought it was amazing. Better than a nursing home.It makes the residents feel like they are at home in a big house. The staff is very friendly and caring for the residents, they keep the. Place very clean and go on. Great excursionthat gets the residents out of the house. I like that. They served delicious meals. You can call or go over at any time. One of the residents is a femail Doug dog call Dori. She gives out good vibes to the residents. They also have special events for the holidays. I enjoy that because my mother liked the holidays. I am not able to bring her to my house anymore. So I appreciate that. There isn't enough. I could say about the staff.They are so friendly. There is a lot of struggles taking care of some of them. Residents and they have a lot of patience. They are absolutely wonderful. From my heart, I appreciate all of you. Thank you so much for what you do.💯💙💙💙🙏

While visiting the house, the atmosphere was calm and inviting. The residents were socializing and relaxed and the staff we’re supportive and complementary of their coworkers.

When it comes to memory cares dealing with dementia and behaviors that can accompany dementia Applewood Our House is one of the very best in all of Denver metro.

Applewood Our House has been a blessing. For anyone having to leave what they have known as home for so many years is hard. The staff have done an amazing job for my grandma. The care, love, comfort & welcoming they have showed her is amazing.

Two years ago Markie Anderson showed me a lot of places . When I walked in the door I knew this was the place I wanted my wife to be as well as a place I would like to be. I am humbled by the fact they have taken us both in as family. The professionalism, the caring of Catty my wife as well as the other residents is more than I could ever hoped for. Many a time I have seen the staff hugging a resident and reassuring them they are loved. I can leave knowing that my wife is getting the loving care that she requires. They have also helped me immensely. Obviously I can,t say enough about the place and the folks running it so,I guess I better quit before I run out of letters I forgot to add one thing. I live in two worlds now, home and Applewood. It is the grounds,the building and most of all, the people that make my second world what it is, a place that I know Catty is receiving the best of care and a place that I am proud to be a part of.

The staff at Applewood Our House Arvada is amazing. They made my dad last couple of years so much better. He was really happy living there. The caregivers are so attentive and kind. He smiled a lot and seemed to be happy. After moving in he talked to me more than he did my entire life before moving in. I can not thank all the staff (especially a few, you know who you are) for all the kindness you showed my father, It made a world of difference to us needing to have him go into an assisted living. I would and have recommended Applewood to anyone needing to find a place for their love one. Thank you Applewood Our House!

My mom lived here for two years, she was treated as if she was their grandma, loving respectful, compassionate! Tricia and the entire staff treated my family as if we were there family too!!! It’s a small intimate facility that feels like grandmas house! The residents can walk all around inside and out in a very safe, secure and beautiful environment! It is a true home feeling and not a sterile hospital like at all!!! I would recommend this place to anyone!!!!!

My family and I were very skeptical and cautious when finding a home for our mother who has been fighting Alzheimer's for numerous years. We had trusted caregivers and were able to keep her at home for a long time. My siblings and I are just thrilled with our decision to move mom into Applewood Our House Arvada. While we can only visit her through a window and phone right now, she seem to be happier than she has been in years. While this was the hardest decision my siblings and I have had to make, we all agree it was the best one to make. The cost of AOH is actually less money than hiring caregivers and home expenses and she's making friends. Applewood Our House Arvada gets a thumbs up from us.

This beautiful facility was not only manageable size wise, but the staff was very caring and nurturing of its residents. I found everyone to be very helpful to and considerate of us caregivers and our families. I learned here that it was not quantity of life we were striving for, but quality for the residents' short time left. The food was great, cleanliness maintained, and there were different stages of activities and outings for our loved ones to partake in , if able. Thank you Applewood Our House, for saving the good memories for our families, while you handled the most difficult stages of this disease. You are wonderful!
