These residents enjoy amenities such as housekeeping, transportation within our community, delicious and nutritious daily meals, laundry services, social events, and outings. This is important to maintain one’s quality of life.

Here are a few common questions asked about assisted living and nursing homes. Click on each question below to see the answers.
Some people wonder if assisted living is better than nursing home care. Although there might be a few similarities, there are several significant differences between assisted living care facilities and nursing homes.
While both facilities provide medical and health services to residents, nursing homes offer more therapeutic and medical care. Also, nursing homes often employ nurses who are on call.
Assisted living provides more personalized care. As opposed to needing a registered nurse or doctor on location, doctors and nurses make regular checkups, and emergency medical care is only minutes away.
Assisted living homes are generally located in neighborhoods. As a result, there are regular social events such as dinners and group outings.
The social aspects of assisted living cannot be ignored. Residents enjoy meals together, socialize, and participate in activities that will enhance their daily lives. These activities include playing board games, participating in arts and crafts, and engaging in other hobbies or sports.
