The Applewood Our House Harvest Festival is an annual celebration to honor food grown and harvested on our land. We decorate our homes and yards and assemble baskets full of local vegetables and fruits. Residents and their families help harvest crops and enjoy the last days of fall together.
The team at Applewood Our House makes a conscious effort to fulfill the life of each resident, whether that means sitting with residents and listening to their stories, or encouraging them to set the table and participate in the various inner-workings of the home.
At Applewood Our House, we also take residents on weekly and seasonal outings to promote independence, happiness, and fulfillment.
