Applewood Our House Golden is our first home and was completely remodeled in 2011 to serve our elderly residents with Alzheimer’s and dementia. We have rooms for 12 residents, with ten private rooms and one companion room.
The welcoming Golden home has mature trees and a fabulous backyard and garden for our residents, pets, and families to enjoy. The home has hardwood floors in the main areas, carpet in the bedrooms, and private baths for all residents. The kitchen is at the heart of the home and features cherry cabinets, stainless steel appliances, and granite countertops, welcoming residents to feel at home.

Applewood Our House Lakewood was completed in September of 2012. This location features rooms for 16 residents, with four private rooms and six companion rooms. Our double rooms are built with a closet in between the two bedroom spaces, which serves as a divider, creating privacy for each resident. Alternatively, it can be set up as a suite with a bedroom area and a sitting area. Each room also includes its own private bathroom.
The interior of our home has an open floor plan with a great room for entertainment and relaxation. The kitchen is at the heart of the house and features natural cherry cabinets, granite countertops, and stainless steel appliances. The home also offers a fabulous outdoor area with shade, a walking path, and raised garden beds to allow residents to grow their own fruits and vegetables.

Applewood Our House Arvada opened our doors in October 2013 with four companion rooms and eight private rooms.
The Arvada location has spectacular views of the mountain range, from Pikes Peak to Longs Peak, and is surrounded by a yard with a walking path to enjoy the sun among the large cottonwood trees.

Applewood Our House South Lakewood is the newest addition to our homes. It has 16 private rooms, a wonderful living room and a dining space. The kitchen rests at the heart of the home and features cherry cabinets, stainless steel appliances, and granite countertops, welcoming residents to feel right at home.
Our secure, specialized home offers services and structures specifically designed to accommodate residents with dementia and other assisted living needs, and our staff has specialized training in caring for those with dementia and other memory care needs. We offer 24-hour care in eight-hour shifts to keep our staff energized and able to best serve our residents.
Applewood Our House North Arvada has opened its doors with sixteen private rooms.
The Arvada location has spectacular views of the mountain range, from Pikes Peak to Longs Peak, and is surrounded by more than 1/2 acre yard with a walking path to enjoy the sun among many outdoor activities located in the yard for the residents to enjoy.
Families who are looking for a secure group home for a loved one that “feels like home again” will soon have a new option. Anticipation is building as construction proceeds on Applewood Our House’s fifth memory care home, scheduled to open in North Arvada in fall 2018.
